GARLIC & PARMESAN KNOTS

Years ago, I started making “Soft Pretzel Knots” and they were an immediate hit not only with my family and friends, but our market customers too.   Each Saturday I would bring a basket full of these to sell, and they would disappear as quickly as I put them out.

Garlic & Parmesan KnotsWanting to expand on their popularity, I started experimenting with the recipe and added homegrown garlic into the recipe.    Right before placing these new “GARLIC KNOTS”  in the oven, I coat them with an egg and milk mixture, and then top them with Parmesan cheese.   Wow!   The combination of garlic and parmesan give these knots an EXPLOSION of flavor.    Simply mouth-watering!

These have also become a huge hit with our Market customers.   My daughter always asks me to save her one, before I bring the rest of the batch for our Waxhaw Farmer’s Market.    They are her favorite.
